บทคัดย่อ :
As part of a study of dry dipterocarp forest at SERS, it was decided to examine the Defoliation of Teng (Shorea Obtusa, Wall.) and Rang (Pentacme Suavis A. DC.). Both are deciduous species and light demanders. Both occur in deciduous forests throughout Thailand, perennially in dry dipterocarp forest but also scattered in dry upper mixed deciduous forest. They are totally absent from evergreen forests.
