บทคัดย่อ :
This study was conducted to investigate the responses of eight clones of Acacia species (Acacia auriculiformis: Aa, and A. crassicarpa: Ac) and four clones of an Acacia hybrid (Ah: Am x Aa) to the effects of four soil improvement methods (control, dolomite, dolomite + organic fertilizer and dolomite + chemical fertilizer) in northeast Thailand. The soil samples in the study site were collected and analyzed. The height and DBH of the trees at two years old were measured. The results revealed that all soil improvement methods could significantly
increase height and diameter growth of all Acacia species and the Acacia hybrid in every clone compared to the control. There were no significant differences in height growth between improvement methods, but for diameter growth, the application of dolomite and organic fertilizer gave the highest average DBH. There were significant differences in height and diameter growth between species. The Acacia hybrid had the highest average height and diameter growth.
